FEILDTNCt FARMERS’ PROTEST,

The following resolution was unanimously carried at a meeting of the Foil ding A. and P. general committee last week: — . “That this meeting, in the present critical situation of the freezing industry, uses its best endeavours to support the farmers in procuring voluntary labour to carry on the primary industries of the country, particularly the freezing industry and that in the event of the men of this district refusing to carry on, this meeting pledges itself to assist in every,possible way; and further that the time has arrived when the Government should introduce legislation to abolish preference to unionists.
