REVIEWS.
“Humour” —An interesting weekly feature about “Humour” is the regular competition for jokes, in which good cash prizes are given. Naturally this leads to a very tine selection of stories every issue, which are, even so, just a drop in the ocean of mirth that this publication gleans weekly from the leading journals of wit throughout the world. “Aussie” —Just- to hand is the big ’Xmas “Aussie,” undoubtedly the best number that has ever appeared of this popular magazine. Story after story, joke after joke, from picture to paragraph, the ’Xmas “Aussie” is all the time happily in contact with the bright side of things. Anyone of these might, with justice, be placed cither at the head or the tail of the list. All are excellent. Among the contributing writers and artists we find such well known names as Rod Quinn, John Barr, Will Lawson, A. G. Stephen, and a host of others. There are 84 pages in the issue and there is no increase in price.
