DETERMINED SUICIDE.

A determined ease of suicide occurred at Pet one yesterday, when Arehibald Melunes, a British migrant, who arrived in the Dominion about six months ago, ended his life by cutting his throat with a razor. Deceased, who was 37 years of age, had stated on a previous occasion, after a call on the Immigration Department, that, rather than become a burden on the Government, he would do away with himself. On the previous evening he had stated that, the Immigration Department had told him not to sit at home, but to go and look for work. He was worried about his health but was all right in regard to money matters, At the coronial inquiry the coroner found that deceased had committed suicide by cutting his throat with a razor while in a depressed state of mind, due to anxiety as to the state of his health,
