ROAD CYCLE RACES.
To-morrow evening two road cycle races will be got off by the Foxton Amateur Cycling Club. The tirst. will be a live mile race, (live times round the Johnston St. block) and the second, ajwo mile race over the same course. Palmerston N. riders will again be competing and much speculation is rife as to whether Knott, the local champion, can beat them on this occasion. Interspersed with the two above events, will be a mile sprint for school boys. The handicaps for the races are as follows: — Five mile. —Spiers (P.N.) scr., Shortt, Knott losec; K. Martin, C.
