TO-MORROW’S ROAD RACES.
To-morrow afternoon (Wednesday), commencing at 5.30 o'clock sharp, I lie Cycling Club will promote two road raees. The first will he a one-mile sprint onee round Johnston Street, and the second five times round Johnston - Street block. A total entry of 50 riders has been received. Added interest will be given, to the events by the appearance of Messrs Casey and Spiers, two crack riders from Palmerston X. C. Short! and Ginger Knott will also he riding. Interspersing the two Club races, there will be a married men’s race. Twelve married men will compete. Xo doubt a big crowd will line Main Street to-morrow evening.
