ROYAL PICTURES.
A story about motion picture life told with chuckles as commas, laughs as semi-colons, and shouts of joy as periods, has been made into a, rollicking comedy drama called “The Beautiful Cheat,” a Universal Jewel starring Laura La Plante, to be screened at the Royal Theatre to-night. The direction was by Edward Sloman, while the east includes Harry Myers, Bertram Grasby and Alexander Carr. Extra: Miss Daisy Morgan in a Dutch dance and Miss Rachel NankwelJ and Miss Jean Cheetham in a military dance. No advance in prices. On Monday “The Beautiful Cheat” will be screened. Full of romance, thrills and human interest. A picture for everybody. Plenty of excilment is provided in the, scene where a man leaps from the top of a tall building to bis death, and the great battle in a Chinese theatre. The star is Dorothy Gish and others in the cast are William Powell, Florence Auer, and Frank Puglia. A First National masterpiece.
