FOXTON LADIES’ HOCKEY CLUB.
BEVERLEY ROSE BOWL AWARDED TO MSS N. SPRING. A very pleasing ceremony took place in the Masonic Hall on Saturday evening, when members of the local Ladies’ Hockey Club foregathered in social intercourse and to do honour to the Avinner of the Beverley Bowl, donated by Mrs Barron for the player avlio had displayed most improvement during the season. The unanimous choice of the adjudicators: Airs Barron, Alias R. Barber (club captain) and Mr Clark (referee) fell upon Aliss N. Spring. The presentation Avas made by the donor in a happy congratulatory speech, and Miss Spring reoei\red an ovation from her culb mates upon receiving the trophy, and was accorded musical honours. The recipient boAved her acknowledgment.
