WOMAN KILLED BY BUS
A DRIVER’S NEGLIGENCE. Auckland, October 29. At the inquest concerning the death of Mrs Florence Alice Matykc, who was killed through being knocked down by a motor bus on September 7, the Coroner, Mr R. \Y. McKean, said it was (he duty of the driver, Lionel Arthur MeAskell, to have exercised more caution than he did, and the only conclusion he could form was that the bus was negligently driven by MeAskell. A formal verdict was returned that deceased died as a result of being knocked down by a bus.
