SWIMMING BATHS CARNIVAL
The Fibre Committee’s usual weekly euchre party will be held in Hamer’s sample rooms this evening. The Sports Committee weekly euchre tournament will be held in Grady’s rooms to-morrow evening. The Sports Committee will hold a Grand Bazaar in the Afasonic Hall and grounds to-morrow afternoon and evening. Official opening at 3 p.m. by Messrs J. Linklater and Nash, Al.’sP. and His Worship the Alavor.
Dances were held in the Afasonic Hall on Saturday and Monday nights for the Citizens’-Queen candidate. A large number wore present on each occasion, and a very pleasant time was spent.
A euchre and five hundred tournament was held in Hamer’s rooms on Alonday night for the Fibre Queen candidate, the attendance being good. Prizes for the euchre were won by Airs Groom and Air V. Afoore, first ; and Mrs Tuna and Air A'ndreson second.
The prizes • for the five hundred went to Airs Leaver and Air T. Fuller and Airs Arcus and Air Coley.
