FELL FROM TRAIN.

THE NAPIER TRAGEDY.

Napier, October 19

At the inquest to-day on Emily Blenson,’ the Coroner returned a verdict that her death was due to injuries sustained through a fall from a train while temporarily insane. The evidence disclosed that deceased had suffered from insomnia, and was worried about her baby. A lady passenger said that she saw deceased go out of a carriage and sit on the gangway, with her legs hanging between the carriages and supporting herself with her arms. Deceased released her hold and slipped down between the carriages. Mrs Benson was terribly injured and died before reaching the hospital.
