LAND-BROKERS SUICIDE.

SUFFERED FROM NERVOUS DEPRESSION.

Christchurch, Last Night

’At the inquest on Eric John Tay'lor, aged 54, lnmfbroker, found dead in his office, on Sunday evening, with the door closed and barricaded, and a gas ring turned on, evidence was given by sisters that he had been suffering from nervous trouble/and had been depressed of late. He had never suggested suicide. It was staled also that ffiavlor had a good business and a happy homo life.

The coroner found that death was caused by asphyxia, due to inhaling coal gas while suffering from severe depression.
