A well-known local footballer is indisposed at present for a somewhat unaccountable reason, says an exchange. While at work last week he felt a painful sensation in one of his limbs, and when he arrived at his home he was in almost a state of collapse. Medical attention was summoned, and the patient following upon treatment, is now out of danger. There is a suggestion that the trouble arose as the result of a bite from a katipo spider, and had attention not been received when it was the patient might have succumbd.
