BURIED TREASURES.

TUTANKHAMEN’S TOMB. From New Zealand to Cairo and the Valley of the Tombs, is a far cry. A lengthy trip even by a modern aeroplane. But if you come to the Methodist Church to-night, at 7.30 o’clock you will. bo. in lime to join the excursion. The Rev. R. B. Gosnell will conduct a party of excursionists all the way, and show them treasures buried from human sight for over 4,000 years. Starting from New Zealand, we call at several of the lovely islands en route, viewing their beauties. Reaching Cairo, we spend-a few days there visiting many places of interest, not forgetting a trip to the Pyramids. Reaching at length the Valley of the Tombs of the’ Kings, ,we behold the open tomb of King Tutankhamen, and inspect its wealth of buried treasures. Egyptian charms and ornaments fashioned over 4,000 years ago by hands long stilled by death are now exposed to view. All this can be seen to-night by means of 90 lantern slides prepared from the very latest photographs, and all can be seen in about two hours. This trip has been taken by audiences in many parts of this Dominion, and all have been intensely interested and pleased. Don’t miss the opportunity of enjoying this very fine excursion.
