BOWLING.
Shannon green opens to-morrow afternoon. FoXton will be represented by six or eight bowlers. The following is the list of opening dates of clubs within this district to which Foxton players have been invited to be present: — Shannon Club: September 29th. Palmerston N. Bowling Club, October 2nd. Otaki Club, October 2nd. Manawatu Club, October 9th. Levin Club, October 13th. Foxton green, of course, opens on Wednesday of next week.
