CAUSING DEATH

FEILDING FARMER COMMITTED

FOR TRIAL.

At the Feilding Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, before Messrs I-I. Tolley -and F. S. Guy, J.’sP., Frank Winton Lethbridge, fanner, of Waitnna West, was committed to the Supreme Court fo> trial on a charge that on July 31, at Feilding, lie did negligently drive a motor vehicle and thereby cause the death of Robert Nelson Ingle.

Detective-Sergeant T. Quirke, conducted the prosecution. Mr Cooper represented accused, Mr J. Graham watched proceedings on behalf of deceased’s relatives.

The evidence tendered was on the lines of that given at the inquest, and accused was committed to the Supreme Court for trial. Bail was allowed in one surety of £IOO and in self of £2OO.
