Keep, your pipe goingi if you would' escape the ’tin! Tobacco is a great safeguard in times.like this. It is a known preventative of disease because it wards oft’ infection, as any doctor will tell you. But it is essential that it should be of the best quality, and as free from nicotine as possible, because you cannot' go on smoking tobacco heavily (-barged with nicotine pipeful after pipeful. Our New Zealand- grown tobaccos are the purest, because they contain very little nicotine, consequently you canksmoke them for hours at a time with pleasure, and need not fear harmful results. Also—note this! —New Zealand tobaccos are toasted in the process of manufacture. That’s why their flavour is so delicious, and their bouquet so delightful. Made in various strengths, they appeal ir-

resistibly to all smokers. Ask you tobacconist for “Riverhend Gold’ if you like a really choice aromatic if you prefer a medium flavour ge some “Navy Cut” or “Cavendish” and if your preference is for a to bacon of full strength, try “Cn Plug No. 10.”*
