SECOND DAY AT WANGANUI. The Wanganui Jockey Club brought its spring meeting to a successful conclusion on Saturday. Tlicrp was an excellent crowd present. The totalisator took £33,53(5 during the day, as compared with £37,412 10s for the second; day last year. The total for the meeting was £58,701 10s against £06,086, which was the 1925 total, a decrease of £7,984 10s. Results: — Debutante Two Year-Old Stakes. —-Frenzied Finance 1, Tallisker 2, Chelome 3. Won by three-quarters of a length. Time, 1.2 1-5. Gonville- Hurdles. —Enare and Santiago, dead heat, Tawehi 3.
Four lengths between second and third. Time, 2.59.
Spring Hack Handicap.—Gleninnis 1, Macroom 2, Bisox 3. Won by half a length. Time, 1.15 2-5. New Zealand Eclipse Stakes Reremoana 1, Civility 2, Seatown 3. Won by half a length each way. Time, 1.42 3-5. Railway Hack Handicap.—Penman 1, Kilperon 2, Schorr 3. Von 1)v two lengths. Time, 1.32.
Iliggie Handicap. —Beacon Light 1, Mundane 2, Rouex 3. Won by three lengths Time, 2.8 4-5. Mont on Hack Handicap.—Mint Leaf 1, Bonhomme 2, Airtight 3. Won by a long neck. Time, 1.52 4-5. Owen Handicap.—Yoma 1, Avola 2, Black Cat 3. Wbn by a neck each way. Time 1.15.
