HIGH COMMISSIONER’S
CABLE
The High Commissioner’s cable, dated 6th inst., reads:— Manila/market firm; September November shipments sold up to £46 10s, closed easier. Sisal market quiet, but steady, with fairly large stocks of No. 1 on spot; small business reported at £42 10s to £43, and forward shipments quoted, sellers, £43. New Zealand market quiet but steady, with sellers high points any position £37 10s, fair £34 10s; possible buyers 20/- less.
