DIXIELAND CABARET LICENSE.
SUSPENDED FOR ONE MONTH. Auckland, August 20. The license of Dixieland Cabaret has l)een suspended by the City Council for one month, as a sequel to recent court proceedings against the management for permitting alcoholic liquor to be consumed on the premises. An amendment for suspension for two months was defeated on the easting vote of the Mayor.
