SWIMMING BATHS CARNIVAL.

An old-time Nigger Minstrel Concert will be held in the Royal Theatre this evening, under the auspices of the Sports Queen Committee. The programme and details are set forth in the advertising columns. The Citizens’ Queen Committee are holding a Paddy’s Market on Saturday. A fox trot competition, for which good prizes arc offered, will be held in conjunction with the Fibre Queen dance to be held in the Masonic Hall on Saturday night. A euchre party was held in Hamer’s rooms on Tuesday night, for the Fibre Queen, there being a large attendance. The first and second prizes for ladies were won by Miss Brown and Mrs Gunter, and the gents’ by Mr H. Johns and Mr Purcell, respectively.
