OBITUARY
MARY ANN SORENSEN, AGED 66 YEARS.
The death occurred suddenly at Ilimatangi on Sunday of Mrs Mary Ann Sorensen, at the age of 66 years. The late Mrs Sorensen was the wife of Mr. C. M. Sorensen an old and respected resident of Ilimatangi. Deceased was born in Low er Hutt, Wellington in 1860, and resided there until her marriage 48 years ago. Mr. and Airs Sorensen subsequently removed to New Plymouth where they resided for 25 years later taking up their residence in Hawera and Palmerston North, anti finally settling at Ilimatangi 19 years ago. Deceased possessed a kindly disposition and was beloved by all who knew her, and she leaves her husband and a grown up family besides a large circle of friends, to mourn their loss. The children are as follows: —Messrs. A. 11. and I. Sorensen (Hawera), C. andD. (Auckland), R. (Palmerston N.), and -Mesdames M. Grigg (Washington, U.S.A.), E. Palmer (Hawera), B. Bridges (Auckland), L. Christainsen (Te Kuiti) and L. Parr and Miss D. Sorensen (Himatangi). The interment took place at the Foxton cemetery yesterday.
