TREASURER'S STATEMENT.

The treasurer reported as follows at Monday night's meeting of the Foxton Borough Council: — During the month of July the sum of £0290 10s Od, was received and banked as follows: —District Fund Account £BO9 Is 7d, Cemetery Account £2 12s Od, Drainage Construction Loan £8 10s sd, Town Hall No. 2 Loan £4400, Roads and Streets No 3 Loan £I7OO.

The ledger balances for the 30th July were as follows: —Accounts at debit totalled £B2O 8s and were made up as follows: —Imprest cash £lO, gas works £351 (is lid, waterworks £4lOl 19s 2d, Town Hall pictures £4B Is lid.

The accounts at credit were: — Cemetery £l2l 17s lid; drainage construction loan £292 8s 2d; generel £3BB 5s 8d; hospital and charitable aid £55 0s 3d, interest £973 3s sd, library £l4O 0s sd, reserves £IOB 17s od, roads and streets 3 £4701 13s 4d, Town Hall £147 19 Od, Town Hall , 2 Loan £2335 4s 4d.
