FOXTON TENNIS CLUB

The Committee of the Foxton Tennis Club met on Thursday evening to discuss the matter of the erection of a-pavilion. Other matters discussed were, netting fencing and finishing off the courts. The club also lias undei consideration (lie matter of country membership, and the linking-up of players generally in the surrounding districts, with the idea of making Foxton a centre for the smaller Hubs. It is the intention of the Club to eater for Beach players also. The ground committee recently inspected the courts and found the grass was coming away well, everything being in first-class order.
