Hawke’s Bay.—-Full-back, Paewai; three-quarters, Grenside, Blake, Jensen; five-eighths, Cooke, Corkill; half, Mill; wing-forward, Walker; forwards, Single, Caven, C. Brownlie, Mahoney, JI. Brownlie, Swain, Kirkpatrick. Reserves: L. Johnston, Rush.
Afanawntn. —Full-back,: Seeker: three-quarters, Strange, Alullins, Palmer; live-eighths, MeLeatn, Evans; half-back, Eyre; wink-for-ward, Glendinning; hookers, Stewart and Boldt; lock, Pragnell; supports, Guy and Ryan; break-nways, Dunn and Grieg. The All-Blacks of 1920, playing their last game before disbanding, defeated Auckland by 11 points to 0, at Eden Park, Auckland, yesterday. Weakened by injuries, the AllBlacks'' back combination was somewhat disjointed. So seriously were the New Zealand backs affected bv earlier casualties, that the retirement of Dailey in the first spell necessitated his replacment by W. Wright, an Auckland emergency. The Damievirkc representatives defeated the Bush representatives at Dannevirke, yesterday by 14 points to 11, after a hard and even game.
