HOROWHENUA RETAINS BEBINGTON SHIELD. RANGITIKEI OUTCLASSED. In the challenge Rugby match for the Bebbington Shield, played at Levin yesterday between the Rangitikei and Horowhenua Unions, the latter being holders of the trophy, Horowhenua quite outclassed their opponents in every department of the game which ended in a victory for Horowhenua by 42 points to nil. At Wellington yesterday Canterbury College defeated Victoria College by 11 points to 3.
