THE HEMP MARKET.
HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT. High Commissioner’s cable, dated the 24th inst., reads: Hemp, Manila market somewhat firmer, but not much business passing. “J” grade, August-October shipments quoted at £4O sellers. Sisal market steady and prices same as last quotations. New Zealand market steady with high points July-September shipments quoted at £3O, fair £33 10s sellers.
