SWIMMING BATHS CARNIVAL.

An “Evening” will be held at Mrs I'erreau’s, under the auspices of the Citizens’ Queen Committee, this evening. Games, competitions, music, etc. An “Afternoon,” arranged by the Farmers’ Queen Committee, will be held in the Plunket room to-morrow afternoon. Competitions, and music will occupy the time, and afternoon tea will also be dispensed. The Fibre Queen Committee announces that a euchre party will be held at the Beach on Friday evening. Motor transport from the Triangle, leaving at 7 o’clock. The Farmers’ Queen Committee will hold a Children’s plain and fancy dress ball in the Masonic Hall’on Saturday, August 14th.
