SCHOOLS AND TUCKSHOPS.
Napier, Last Night. The Hawke’s Bay Education Board to-day resolved, that in the interests of the general health of school children, there is urgent necessity for legislation to prevent the erection and trading of tuck-shops in proximity to primary and secondary schools, and that the Government be asked to include in the Town Planning Bill, or some other Bill, to be brought before Parliament this session, provision-to curtail or restrict this pernicious practice.
