CARNIVAL NOTES .
The Farmers’ Queen Committee will hold an “Evening” at Mrs Perreau’s this evening, at 8 o’clock. Everyone invited. To-morrow afternoon the Citizens’ Queen Committee will hold an “afternoon” in the Plunket room, at 2.45 o’clock. An additional attraction will be the Baby Show, for infants aged from 4 to 12 months. Prizes for best baby. The price of admission is 1/-. The Fibre Queen will hold a dance in the Masonic Hall to-mor-row night. Good tloor and good music is assured. The prices of admission are very moderate.
