SECONDARY SCHOOL BUILDINGS.
BOARD PREPARING PLANS. At last night’s High School Committee meeting a letter was received from the Education Board stating that the Board’s architect was preparing plans and specifications for a building to accommodate the secondary classes and pointing out that if the committee and townspeople provided the site it would materially assist the Board in obtaining the necessary grant from the Department, and asking that the committee finalise the site. Afer discussion it was unanimously decided to authorise Mr. Hornblow to interview Mr. McMillan re the acquisition of the corner section adjoining lhakara Garden for the new buildings.
