R.S.A. (5), FOXTON (3). The above teams met on Easton Park on Saturday last in good weather and before a large number of spectators. 11.5. A. won the toss and commenced an attacking movement toward the southern goal, the game from the start was very fast both teams pressing hard till twenty minutes after the start when ILS.A. opened the scoring, Baigent getting the ball in front of goal, slipped it past Hinds, who had no chance of saving. Hard and fast play continued and within, the next ten minutes R.S.A. scored twice. Foxton livened up and put ip some good work -resulting in Coulson netting the ball for Foxton. Play continued fast, both teams going for all they were worth. R.S.A. not-, died another goal before the interval. At half time R.S.A. 4, Foxton 1. The second half opened briskly, R.S.A. from the kick off went right up the field and scored their fifth goal rather easily, before the players realised the game had started. Foxton now took up the running and had a fair share of the play for the 30 minutes when G. Afounsey securing the ball near the corner Hag sent in a shot which beat Chapman, who in attempting to clear his goal pulled the ball into the net. Foxton kept plodding on and in the last minute Taylor scored the third goal for Foxton. The game ended, R.S.A. 5, Foxton 3.

Air. J. Davidson controlled the game, which was the fastest played here this season.
