RANGIOTU HERD TESTING ASSOCIATION.
The annual meeting of the Rangiotu Herd Testing Association was held at Rangiotu on Monday.
In his remarks the chairman (Mr. W. A. Gimblett) said he believed that the herd testing was of supreme importance to the dairy industry. If the association w T as to be successful the members must eo-operate, without which no body could prosper. It was decided that the body he knowm in future as the Manawatu Herd Testing Association. A minute to the effect that a full-time organising secretary lie appointed wes rescinded.
It was decided that Messrs. Gimblett and Robbin interview the bank authorities with a view' to ascertaining the position in regard to the guarantees, and that the present guarantors be released. The meeting ended with a special vote of thanks to Messrs. Gimblett and Legg for what they had done in the interests of herd testing.
