P.W.M.U.

The monthly meeting of the “Presbyterian AYomen’s Mission Union” (P.W.M.U.), was held in the local church on Tuesday afternoon. Mrs McDonald (President), presided and opened the meeting with prayer and Scripture reading, After business matters were disposed of, the President read an interesting letter from Sister Heather, Maori missionary re the Waikearemoana districts. The Union desires to tender its sincere thanks to all who responded to the appeal for left-off clothing for the Maori Mission. Many parcels were brought or sent in and Mrs McDonald is packing them, and they will be duly forwarded to Sister Heather this week.
