NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW.
Everything looks fair and bright for the big exhibition which is to be held on the 15th, to 19th, of this month at Palmerston North. Exhibitors are arriving With their exhibits, and carts, lorries, and other vehicles are again wearing a beaten track into the buildings with machinery etc., for the stallholders. The large and spacious halls are a scene of activity, spaeeholdcrs busy engaged in building stalls, erecting engines, and generally arranging their wares so as to catch the eyes of likely purchasers. The Show this year will be well worth a visit. All the exhibition space has been booked up and a fine exhibition of dairy machinery and mercantile exhibits generally is assured. The applications for side show space are also out of the ordinary and there will be plenty to amuse and educate the ordinary spectator. A- splendid programme of football matches has been arranged by fhe committee in co-operation with the Manawatu Rugby Council and on the Friday a special programe of ring competitions will be provided, including pony and horse leaping, etc. In the evening visitors will be catered for with a special programme of Highland Dancing', boxing, etc. Only a week now remains before the opening day and contemplating visitors will lie well advised to see to their accommodation.
