AMATEUR CYCLING CLUB.
A general meeting of the above was held on Thursday night. There was a good attendance, presided over by Mr. G. F. Smith. It was decided that the Club hold fortnightly dances in the Masonic Hall in order to raise funds for restoring the cycle track in Victoria Park. The following dance committee was elected: Messrs G. Coley. P. Honour, C. Billings and P. Little. Accounts were passed for payment and the meeting- terminated with the usual compliment to the chair. You have all seen what the Foxton Amateur Cycle Club can do in collection with road races. Now see what they can do in the way ol: dances. Roll up at the Masonic Hall on Monday evening and have a good time. The Club is out to make its first dance a great success so don’t miss it. Admission: Gents 2/6, ladies a basket or 1/6.
