TOWN HALL LOAN. is hereby given that Ihe Council proposes for the purpose of erecting the Town Hall, Supper Room, etc., to raise a Special Loan of TO,OOO at a rate of interest not exceeding 0 per per centum per annum, with a Sinking Fund of one per cent, per annum. And for the purpose of providing for the repayment of the loan and for (he payment of interest charges thereon, to appropriate and pledge as security, a Special Rate of one penny in the £ on the rateable value of all the rateable property in the Borough of Foxton, such rate to be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and to be made and levied by resolution of the Council after the said Special Loan has been agreed to by the ratepayers. The whole of the loan is to be repaid at the expiry of ten years from the date of raising the same. It is proposed to pay the first year’s interest out of the loan money.
