HOCKEY.
To-morrow the local team will play West End Old Girls on Easton Park. The team will be as follows: —E. Patterson, F. Wilson, Mrs Arcus, M. Purcell, W|. Walls, N. Spring, R. Barber, B. Gower, M. Vcrtongen, L. Davey, M. Patterson. Emqrgencies: N. Woods, and Iv. Martin.
Messrs Scott and Clarke will referee. • Play starts at 2.30 p.m. sharp.
The seven-a-side learn to journey to Palmerston N. on June 3rd to participate in the tournament has been selected as follows: —F. Wilson, E. Patterson, N. Spring, B. Gower, R. Barber, M. Vcrtongen, L. Davey.
On Saturday a shop day will be held by the club. Homemade cakes, vegetables and poultry etc,, will be on sale. Contributions will bo gratefully received.
