AMATEUR CYCLING CLUB.
Every possible preparation has been made by the above club to make June 3rd, a memorable day in the history of cycle racing in Foxton. All the final details have been attended to and given fine weather the people of Foxton can rely upon an afternoon’s sport brimful of interest. Air. AA'alter Vernon, the famous ventriloquist, will have his pal Ginger in the procession riding a hike and competing for a prize. The committee sincerely trusts that the local hoys and girls have got their trikes, prams, push carts, etc., decorated as good prizes are to be won. In the road races, over twenty starters are entered for eaeh race and there will he intense excitement watching them speed along. Roll up Foxtonites and encourage the local hoys in their fine amateur sport. ENTRIES. Five Mile. —lsj: Gold, medal, Club’s trophy; 2nd, set of tyres and tubes, donated by Air. C.
