Ltd., have received the following cable from their London agents dated 21st May, 1926. “Frozen meat quotations (prices on a “delivered” basis, i.e., including storage charges, cartage, tolls, etc). Down lambs 28/42’s, 10gd per lb; best North Island, 28/42’s, 10Jd per 11); ordinary North Island 28/42’s, lOd per lb; second quality lambs, 9gd per lb; best North Island wether sheep 48/64’s, 5Jd per lb; best North Island wether sheep 64/72’s, s|d per lb; ordinary North Island wether sheep 48/64’s, 5Sd per lb; North Island ewes 48/64’s, 4id per lb; North Island ewes, 64/72’s, 3|d per lb; New Zealand prime ox beef 160/230’s, 4d per lb. The market for lamb is firm, but prices are likely to decline in -the _ near future. Mutton is very weak, and in little demand.
