CORRESPODENCE.
(To the Editor). Sir,—l think it a shocking slate of affairs that no provision is made at the racecourse for dressing purposes by the Racing Club. Last Saturday I saw a number of boys after playing a match taking off their jerseys in the cold wind and dressing in the open. Surely the Racing Club should do something to prevent this dangerous state of affairs. lam etc. RUGBYITE. [The Racing Club is in no way responsible for the erection of dressing sheds for footballers. The local Football Club has that matter in hand. The racecourse is a public reserve, open to all branches of sport, and those requiring its use should follow the example of the Racing Club and make proper provision for the comfort of players and patrons. The Racing Club offered the use of its buildings for dressing purposes, but the conveniences were said to l>e too distant from the football field. —Ed.ll.]
