Recently a local Maori lad who went over the bar ou a lishiug expedition secured, single-handed, sixty schnapper in five hours. . This works out at one every live minutes and when it is taken into consideration that schnapper realise about 2/- each it will be seen that the day’s outing proved a very lucrative undertaking.
