Jack Pickford, who was engaged by Edwin Carewe as a feature player to support Nazimova in “My Son,” the First National feature showing on Wednesday at the Royal theatre, has the name role. The part is a radical change from any Pickford has heretofore interpreted, inasmuch as he appears as a Portuguese fisher boy who loves three women. Larry Semon comedy “The Cloud Hopper.”

What happend to a stolen hag of diamonds is the climax of the thrilling photo drama, “Stop At Nothing,” featuring George Larkin, which is the special feature at the Royal theatre on Friday. Extra: “The Riddle Rider.” “LOST A WIFE.” Adolphe Menjou and Greta Nissan, two new stars of the screen, who are destined to become very popular, have the leading roles in “Lost A Wife,” screening at the Town Hall temporary pictures on Wednesday evening. Lost a wife is a merry French farce of a man who lost his wife and stole her hack again, and gives picturegoers with its fast moving action quite an amount of excitement and plenty of clean humour. A comedy, travel, and News are supporting films. Charles (Buck) Jones by reason of his popularity has been assigned to a number of special productions. The first of these, 8-reelers, “Lazybones,” has been secured for Friday at the Town flail. In “Lazybones” the story of a lovable idler, Jones is supported by his biggest cast to date. Madge Bellamy, Jane Novak and Jasu Pitts, are three of the better known artists.

“The Iron Horse” recognised as (he greatest picture in the country to-day, has been booked for early screening at the Town Hall.
