Dogs, cats, and birds of all kinds are common pets with seafaring men, but very few ships can boast of such a mascot as is owned by the crew of the auxiliary scow Kolii. It is a half-grown white pig, which has been on the vessel for several weeks, and has become quite tame. The crew say that the animal is quite a good sailoi. Though early to bed And early to rise, You’ll never be rich Till you advertise.
