The High Commissioner’s cable, dated 27th inst., reads:—Hemp, Manila market, continues dull and easier. “J” grade No. 2 MarchMay shipments now quoted at £4O 10s, sellers. Sisal dull, and quotations unchanged. New Zealand market quiet and high points March-May shipments quoted at £3B, fair £34 10s, c.i.f.
