UNREGISTERED DENTISTS

When the cases alleging the practice of dentistry without being registered and the employment of an unregistered dentist were called on against T. J. Bartholomew and D. S. Mackenzie at Thursday’s sitting of the Court at Levin, it was stated that the proceedings had been withdraws and the cases were struck out. It is understood that this course has been taken in anticipation of an early sitting of the Royal Commission which is to examine the claims of unregistered dentists for consideration owing to their war services. In the meantime Mr. Bartholomew will not practice.—Chronicle.
