DRESSING ROOMS FOR FOOTBALLERS.
DEPUTATION TO WAIT UN RACING CLUB.
It was stated at Tuesday night’s Committee meeting of the local Rugby Football Club that there were no dressing accommodation for footballers at either Easton Park or on the racecourse. At the former players were allowed to use conveniences at the Post Office Hotel and at the latter the shelter of the trees was sought. It was the opinion of the meeting that dressing sheds and a shower should be provided, but lack of finance precluded the club from providing such necessary conveniences. It was resolved that a deputation consisting of the president (Mr. Hutchins), secretary (Mr. Barron) and Mn J. K. Hornblow wait upon the Racing Club and endeavour to enlist their assistance in the matter.
