HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT.
The High Commissioner’s cable, dated 13th instant, reads:: —Hemp, Manila market, dull and easier. “J” grade No. 2 sold down to £4l 10/-; output'lst January? to 28th February, 210,000, against ;20(i,000; stocks of Manila on hand 28th February 108,000 against 133,000, Great Britain 23,000 against 18,000. Sisal easier. No. 1 Tangayika March-May shipments quoted sellers £44; No. 1 Kenya £43 10s od. New* Zealand dull in sympathy with sellers who quote high points £3B, lair £3s* 10s’0d.
