PRINCE GEORGE AT HONG KONG.
Hong Kong, March 14. Prince George, on behalf of His Majesty, held his first official function in Hong Kong to-day, investing the Governor, Sir Cecil Cleincnti, with the K.C.M.G., Mr. Chow Shouson, senior Chinese representative in the Legislature with the rank of Knight Bachelor, Mr. nallifax, Colonial Secretary, with the C.M.G., and also Mr. George Duncan, for Wembley work, with the M.B.E. The Prince, in naval uniform, motored from the naval yard to Government House. The route was lined with naval units, British troops, and crowds of Chinese and Europeans. The Scottish Volunteers Company, with their pipers, formed a guard of honour.
