ROSE AGAIN DEFEATS HAHN
Four thousand people witnessed Randolph A. Rose again defeat the American champion Lloyd Hahn for the third time in four matches. At Masterton on Thursday Rose romped home a winner by 17 yards. Time, 4mins., 13 3-ssccs. The world’s record is held by P. Nurmi, who, at Stockholm, on August 23, 1923, did the mile in 4min. 10 2-ssec.
