OBITUARY.

THOMAS LIND.

There passed away at the Palmerston North Hospital at an early hour this morning, a well-known ex-fiaxmiller and settler of this district in the person of Thomas Lind, aged 85 years. Some years ago the late Mr. Lind was in milking partnership with Mr. J. O’Connor at Whirokino. Years ago he resided at F.oxton and subsequently at Shannon and Palmerston North. Deceased took a keen interest in Druidic circles and his upright character won for him the esteem of all with whom he was acquainted. He was twice married, but had no children. lie leaves a widow to mourn her loss.
